Fig tree botanically dyed 2024 wool scarf

This collection is made of premium British wool gauze. This is as sustainable as it gets since the material is from British farms, woven in England, and hand dyed by with botanicals on Vancouver island, Canada.

It is light, yet 2024 warm. This piece was mordanted using alum minerals, dyed with fig tree from my backyard, and contact printed with real leaves. The colours are as vibrant as on the photo, although colours may very depending on the colours display of your device.

The design was carefully made in order for each corners of the scarf to be different; you can chose to wear it as a monochrome look or with two variety of botanical contact prints. You can play with different folding to showcase what is best for your outfit that day!
