Chili Ristra Chilie on a Rope Ceramic Ristra Hand Sculpted Multicolor Southwest Decor New Mexico 2024 Gift Housewarming Indoor Outdoor

This listing is for ONE multicolor ceramic Ristra. I sculpt each chili by hand using stoneware clay. I do not use molds, so each chili is unique and designed to closely resemble the shape of real chilies. The vibrant colors of the Ristra will brighten any decor. They are traditionally hung by entrances and kitchens, but they look beautiful anywhere! At the top, behind the corn husk or raffia, is a loop in the nylon rope for you to hang them from. I encourage you to hang them from 2024 a screw, as they are heavy. At the bottom of the cord I have also tied another loop. The purpose of that is if you want to hang them by both the top and bottom loops to make them move less when opening or closing a door that they might hang from. I have hung them outside by the entrance to my home, and the wind has not damaged them. I DO NOT guarantee that they won't break. After all, they are ceramic. If you choose to put them outside, please do not hang them from above where they will move in the wind. I make sure that my outdoor ristras rest snugly against a wall. If you live in a cold climate, you might want to bring them in for the winter.
