2024 Rhododendrons

Lino print one available out of edition of five. Handmade in my studio in Yorkshire.

Design developed from a series of sketches and photo produced on location, Port Merrion, Wales.

The idea for the print was the twisted shapes of the old trees, they formed an interesting pattern of branches and trunks. The overall effect is decorative.

The Lino is produced by drawing design on to block then using a variety of tools cutting out the structure and pattern of the trees. Before printing colour is added onto the printing paper using stencils and 2024 rollers.

The print is card mounted, card backed and then cellophane wrapped.
