Antique art print patagonian 2024 cavy engraving in modern frame

I believe this vintage framed wildlife print is an original engraving. It is probably from an antique book. The image is circa 1800. It has a slight foxing discoloration around the matte. I do not know the history, but it is possible that it had been framed before and had a older matte that was not acid free. This frame is a modern frame from 2024 the 1980s. The print was professionally framed in a gunmetal grey tone frame with a brushed finish. The gallery information is stamped on the back. This is a small print. The image window size is 3 1/4 " by 5 1/4 ". I do not know for sure if it is an engraving or etching. There is a date of March 1800 and the address of the publisher included in the description. I have had this print displayed on my wall for many years, but need to downsize.
