Shamanic Rawhide Rattle with Buckskin Spiral over 2024 Maple Wood Handle and Coyote Fur

Rattles have been used for hundreds of years to achieve an altered state of mind, for shamanic journeying, healing ceremonies, and Native American ceremonies.

I hand stitched this rattle made with 2024 elk rawhide then added brown buckskin spiral wrapped around a maple wood handle and coyote fur collar.
Traditional corn was placed inside this rattle to create a wonderful resonant sound.
