This yunomi was handbuilt using the kurinuki method of carving objects out of a solid piece of clay.

This handcrafted stoneware cup is made of iron bearing clay, and is fired up to Cone 10
(about 2350F, 1287C) in gas reduction. This clay is completely vitrified at 2024 this temperature an can safely be microwaved and washed in the dishwasher.
