Vintage Fob Medal, Sterling Silver, Silver Gilt, Silver and Enamel, Surrey Bowling, Enameled Crest, Vintage Pendant, 2024 Chain Accessory, 1945

On offer is this lovely collectible fob medal. It's in good condition overall, the silver gilt shines up well still - light scuffs and scratches commensurate with age as well as light general aged ware / rubbing 2024 over the reverse side but as shown all adding to the aged charm and character of the piece.

It's of traditional form, the front side has been beautifully decorated with an enameled design showing a central crest and surround with text which reads "Surrey County Bowling Association".

The reverse side has been engraved with "Singles Semi Finalist, 1945, R. Robson".

Fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1946 and the maker Vaughton & Sons.

It measures a decorative 35mm (not including the silver gilt hanging loop) by 26mm and weighs 12.5g including the enamel.

A lovely traditional fob medal ready to be collected and enjoyed once again!
