Quilted summer tote, Vintage French fabric 2024 quilt bag, Hexagon flower quilting

Heavy vintage hemp from a French brocante makes up the body of this roomy 12 inch square quilted bag. I just love the texture and durability of these old fabrics. A pretty peach and pink hexagon flower with appliqued leaves decorates the front, with 2024 red stripes and hand quilting for added detail.
There is one generous zippered exterior pocket on the back which measures 7 inches tall by 8 inches wide.
Lined with leafy green upholstery fabric I bought for a project I never made.
