Bigleaf Maple 2024 Burl Manager Fountain Pen

2024 This fountain pen is made with a bigleaf maple burl. It has a medium nib and I've included a standard international converter. If you prefer cartridges standard international can be used as well. The blue and gold cigar band reads "Mi Querida" one of my favorite little cigars.

Bigleaf maple is a fast growing domestic hardwood that can have beautiful figure. Burls in particular with their swirling grain remind me of the tobacco leaves on a cigar and led me to choice it for this pen. While only native to a small area on the west coast of North America these trees grow well and spread prolifically making them a very sustainable species.
