Vintage Pillivuyt 2024 Teapot with Brown Lustre Finish made in France

This is a vintage French teapot with a brown lustre finish made by Pillivuyt. (established 1818) The exterior is a a chocolate brown with beige accents. It has a lustre finish that reflects light in the many colors of the spectrum. The interior is white and has strainer holes and a sediment dam near the bottom. (see photo 5) The 2024 pot easily holds 32 ounces. The condition is very good with no chips, no cracks, no crazing and no signs of repair. There is a soot mark on the bottom probably from a warming candle. This is a nice and unusual teapot from a premier French porcelain company. Ready for use and display. We love this teapot!
