This is a unique and hard to find piece. It is a Circa 1890 Chinese bronze lock for a trunk in the form of a fruit bat. The detail is quality and the tail slides out. The bat would be fitted on the latch of a trunk and the tail would slide in to lock it in place. This unusual piece is in excellent condition.
