ABOUT THE PAINTING

Goddess Laxmi, one of the principal goddesses in Hinduism, is the goddess of wealth, fortune, power, beauty, fertility and prosperity.
In the painting, the goddess is elegantly dressed sitting in Lotus Pose ( Padmasana) holding a lotus in both her hands. This painting is inspired by a similar one in exhibit in the British Museum.

Perfect for living room, bedroom, or office, putting up an image of the goddess brings prosperity and good luck.
