Milk glass spice containers, classic red, white and blue colors. These are in a sweet pink, wood rack. The caps are pink also, to match the rack. The Paprika jar cap has a different shade of pink, it might have worn off and was repainted. You might leave as is or repaint them all...I kinda like the odd ball one :))) The shakers have designs only on the front side, and are lettered with the appropriate spice. The Celery Salt has the original paper label 2024 on the back (see picture) -' DOVE The Frank Tea and Spice Company'. Unusual to still have the paper label :).
This period of milk glass shakers tended to be plain and simple— Dancing maid, and children playing. Both ends of the rack have a rose design:)
In the earlier part of the 20th-century America, several trends were simultaneously in play. The first was toward a clean, white, sanitary look which lead to these square spice shakers made of milk glass and capped by threaded, metal lids.
They are in good shape. The lids are, as shown, with some corrosion inside, but the glass shakers have very good paint and no chips or cracks. The lids screw on with the usual 'resistance' from the corrosion, but no problems.
Each shaker measures 3 1/4 inches x 2 inches.
They are marked on the bottoms "Made In USA"
