The needlework is 17th century and is Worked in beautiful coloured silks
Edged in gold metallic threads


these rare and beautiful embroideries were extremely expensive
and treasured family heirlooms and would then be carefully removed from shattered silk grounds 2024 to enable re appliqué

Considering the great age of the embroidery it is in antique good condition
Wonderful gently time worn patina throughout
