Handcrafted Live Edge Charcuterie Board made from a beautiful piece of birch.
The wood was sourced locally from a sawyer just south of Green Bay then cut, shaped, and sanded in my small shop.
This board was coated with Total Boat Food Safe Epoxy and then sanded up to 1000 grit before the application of the food safe Odie's Oil finish. All of my boards get two 2024 coats of Odie's Oil for a long lasting and durable finish.
The dimensions of this board are approximately 25" x 8" x 3/4" thick (including the handle). The serving area is about 18" x 8".
This board is a face grain board so I do not recommend using it as a dedicated cutting board. It is intended to be used as more of a decorative piece or a serving tray that isn't cut on.
Directions for washing and care will be included with the board.
Bug holes and voids in the serving areas on both sides of the board have been filled with a resin that is food safe when cured. Any bug holes/voids on the edges of the board have not been filled to maintain the natural live edge look.
