The Girls - charcoal on 2024 paper, Gertrude Bernays

This drawing of to young girls was made by Gertrude Bernays (Tante Trudel) in 1928, (according to the note on the rear.) I 2024 can find no info on the artist. I did find a Gertrude Bernays who lived from 1885 - 1973 and that might be her. Regardless, it is an excellent drawing, wonderfully executed, one you'd be proud to own
