Bronze commemorative medal of S. M. Leopold III (King of Belgium from February 17, 1934 to July 16, 1951) with the inscription: "S.M. LEOPOLD III / AVIATEUR" and relief portrait of Leopold III wearing a leather flying helmet and goggles. Royal crest bottom center. 1938. With embossed wreath of oak leaves on the back. 1.3 x 7cm (1/2 x 2 3/4 in.) Designed by sculptor C. van Dionant.

In outstanding condition. Includes original desk holder.
