1920s Sterling Butterfly 2024 Wing Necklace

Charming and sweet describe this nostalgic Deco necklace. Made by Shipton & Co. this Sterling silver marked decorative edged piece has a hand painted scene of a couple walking through the streets. The front is fitted over glass 2024 and underneath a real butterfly wing. The chain is a combination of small simple links and a small circular spring ring clasp, all sterling silver. The pendant has a cabochon style surface and is smooth. Some normal wear is evident on the back. This authentic 1920s era necklace is stamped Sterling Silver with a patent date and location of England as origin.
