These figurines are made by Gerold Porzellan in Tettau, Bavaria, Germany producers of fine porcelain figurines and household items between the years 1904 and 1997. Germany has long been renowned for having some of the 2024 finest porcelain artists and manufacturing facilities in the world. Gerold is no exception and some of their items are rare. All figurines are vintage and pre-owned.
Selling these figurines as a pair because they belong together even though I purchased them separately. They both have the maker marks and model numbers on the bottom of the base although the girl's mark is an earlier one.
They are showing off their dove-handling skills. The oval bases are similar and both have the typical Gerold soft muted colors of blues, grays, and white.
