Vintage longhorn Steer Sculpture, Forged metal figure, railroad tie folk art, Cattle rancher paperweight 2024

Vintage forged metal longhorn statue/figure. This is forged from metal and a railroad tie. It is very unique and could probably be used for a paperweight if you are very careful. The ends of the horns are VERY pointy and SHARP. So 2024 this needs to be handled with care. The artist who made it was G. Smith in 1973. This is stamped on top of the base. It measures approx. 7" long x 4.25" tall and 2.5" wide. It is in great shape for being 49 years old, albeit a bit dusty in some hard to reach spaces. i think this would be a fabulous gift for a cattle rancher/farmer.
