On offer is this lovely collectible small-sized paper knife. It's in good condition overall - extensive fading all over to the colors as well as light scuffs and scratches and shallow dimples / bruising too commensurate with age; small areas of loss around the tip as well as shallow nibbles but as shown all adding to the aged charm and character of the piece.

It's of traditional form, beautifully decorated on both sides with an attractive tartan pattern - despite the 2024 evident fading and ware it still displays ever so well.

One side is marked with the tartan pattern name "McDonald".

Unmarked for a maker, produced in Mauchline, Scotland by W & A Smith, circa late 19th / early 20th century.

It measures an absolutely charming 16.5cm (6 and 1/2 inches) in length and is ready to be collected and enjoyed once again!
