Vintage kitsch pearlescent blue bird tooth pick or trinket holder 2024 cosmetics holder decoration Norcrest Japan

This is a really cute 1950s blue bird trinket holder. The maker is Norcrest Japan. The original label is gone, but I used to have the same piece with a pink bird. That one had the Norcrest sticker. This was part of a line of blue bird vanity and bathroom items (lipstick holders, soap dishes, tooth brush holders, etc.). The whole piece has a slight pearlescent shine. The bird is a vibrant blue color, and has the sweetest face with big eyes and small beak. It stands 3 inches tall and 3.5 inches across the base. In good vintage condition. There 2024 are some small dark spots inside the vase portion, and some tiny flea bite chips on the tail.
