Beautiful Vintage corde' bead purse by lumured. This 1950's bag is very roomy. It is adorned with the classic corde beads in cream, and clear beads in circles to make a wonderful pattern on both sides. The frame is silver and it has a wonderful kissing closure with cream on top. The handle is wide and beaded the same as the purse. This beauty 2024 has the maker's mark inside and comes with the original mirror. Please remember vintage goodies are not new. Each carrry traces of those who have loved and enjoyed them in the past.
Corde, pronounced "corday", is a bag made of a buckrum base, lined in silk or other fabric, and the cord embroidery is either rayon or silk.
This roomy bag measures 10 1/2" wide, 9" top to bottom and has a 4" handle drop and 7" opening. It is 1950's classic!
