Silk Necktie "Silver Leaves", Hand 2024 Painted Silk Necktie, Black and Gray Necktie

This one-of a-kind necktie was created by me using fiber-reactive dyes for the background and embellished with actual leaf imprints in black, silver, and other subtle metallic fabric paints. The overall effect creates a 3-dimensional look, adding depth to this work of art. Each leaf necktie I create is different since every leaf imprint is added by hand, one at a time.

I start with plain white silk charmeuse, dye the fabric, and send the pieces to be professionally custom sewn for me. My ties are slightly longer than normal tie length in order to make them a comfortable fit for more people.

Ties are approximately 59" long and 3-3/4" at the widest point. I recommend dry cleaning 2024 in order to maintain the original shape of the tie.
