Vintage German porcelain lamp, little sailor boy.
Early to mid 1900s, has original cloth wiring. 2024 Works well.
Pure white porcelain figure, he stands in front of canvas sails,
on a grassy green pedestal. His tie is blowing in the wind,
his wide floppy pants billow out to the sides. He has rosy
cheeks and one lock of hair on his forehead just under his
little white cap.
Hollow, glazed porcelain.
Lamp from base to top of fixture is:
11" tall
Circular base is 3 1/4"
4" wide
The fixture is in good working order.
The last 8" of wire, the cloth has worn away.
The wire is fairly clean for its age.
No crazing on the porcelain, no chipped areas or repairs.
Fairly rare find, very vintage and adorable.
