Early mid-century Sadler covered candy box, ginger, vanity, or trinket jar made in England. Hand-decorated Chinoiserie florals.
In EXCELLENT! condition with NO! chips, nicks, cracks, or fleabites, LITTLE to NO! crazing and LITTLE TO NO! loss or wear to the gold accents. There 2024 are a few spots of browning to the under-side of the jar, not noticeable unless it is over-turned. The Chinoiserie florals are bright and vivid with NO! fading apparent and the inside of the jar is fresh and clean as a whistle!
Covered box has the impressed SADLER ENGLAND and artist's brush marks in black to base.
Approximate measurements: 3-3/4" round in diameter with a depth of 1-1/2" (NOT! including the lid).
