The needle felted painting of the Moon is made entirely of wool. The wool is "painted" onto a flat piece of wool using the needle felted technique of applying different colors using various shaped needles, layering and building up shape, color and 2024 texture, much as a pastel artist does.

The piece measures about 8" x 10". It comes without the frame but I have photographed it to show how it looks when matted and framed. I would suggest a gallery frame with a glass front, which is easy to find at most craft or frame stores.
