Trees and Gears, quilted hanging combining traditional piecing, appliqué with 2024 steampunk inspiration

Trees and Gears, I love trees and I love steampunk design. This is a quilted hanging designed and made by myself combining traditional piecing, appliqué with steampunk inspiration. The background is pieced triangles quilted free motion with monofilament 2024 thread. The tree and fabric gears are raw edge appliqué with corresponding thread color. Metallic gears are incorporated in the design to complete the merging of the design.

I have sewn in one side of a set of Velcro command strips on the top corners to make hanging easy with no damage to walls.

It measures approximately 19.5 x 27”
