SALVAGED ANTIQUE ADJUSTABLE HEIGHT CHANDELIER HANGER:
An interesting find, this ceiling mounted ornamental brass piece was intended to suspend a chandelier at adjustable heights. The back has a reel full of chain link that would supposedly pull out to adjust the height of the two brass chains, one on either side. Marked B&R on the cast iron top hook.
It does not appear to be working in its present state, but I am not 2024 very mechanically inclined, and made no attempt to fix it. However, if you or someone you know is handy, perhaps you could bring this cool piece back to life.
I am selling this piece in "AS IS, AS FOUND" CONDITION, and cannot accept any return.
