Antique Japanese 6.5" Rectangular Plate / 2024 Shallow Bowl Chinoiserie Meiji Period

Lovely antique Japanese plate, presented in a rectangle, this lovely plate is situated on a raised pedestal of 1/4", giving just a slight lift. Upturned sides give it the appeal of a shallow bowl. Presented on a soft white glaze, the deep inky midnight blue and powder 2024 blue florals bloom in an off center patter against small red and gold blooms. On each side of the bottom, powder blue blooms add detail. Lovely piece to add layering in a collection!
