Vintage Kemple Wheaton Pressed Glass Lace and Dewdrop Pattern Footed Covered Compote or 2024 Candy Dish

This covered dish was 2024 manufactured by Kemple Wheaton in the 1970's, in their distinct honey amber.

The pattern is "Lace and Dewdrop". This 3 part mold pattern was a 19th century design of the Phoenix Glass Company purchased by Kemple and then by Wheaton in the 1970's.

The covered dish stands 9" tall. When the cover is removed, the remaining scalloped receptacle stands 5-1/2" tall. That uncovered dish exposes the 3 piece construction of the pressed glass base easily. It is 6-1/2" across at its widest center point. It is a heavy piece.

It is in extremely good condition. They have no scratches or chips or cracks, and have not been repaired in any way.
