Leonore Doskow STERLING SWEATER CLIPS, Vintage Collar Clips | 925 2024 Sweater Guard Fancy Monogram

Vintage sterling silver cardigan clip or sweater guard by American modernist artist and silversmith, Leonore Doskow. Circa 1960s. Discs measure 3/4" in diameter and are engraved with monogram initials in a very elaborate font. The flourish of the lettering makes the letters difficult to read but very beautiful. Ms. Doskow passed away in 2024 2008 at the age of 97.

Discs are marked sterling. Chain is not marked for silver but appears to be original and treated with a rhodium finish.
