This is an original antique wooden tunbridge marquetry inlaid wood jewelry box from the late 1800's. It measures 7 1/2 inches in length, 5 inches in width and 3 inches in height. It would have once locked but it 2024 no longer has a key and the escutcheon plate is missing. The inside bottom is lined with pink velvet. It has some wear as photographed due to age and use. It is still a very useful box.
