Edwardian Vanity Needle work Bag Hanky Holder

This beautiful 100% silk bag has a padded cardboard base. The base is attached to the bag with shirring and ribbon work roses. The silk fabric goes to the top and wraps around a hard band trimmed with the same ribbon work as on the bottom. this unique bag opens and closes by twisting it. This bag was hand made with bright pink silk fabric with a sheen.
There is a couple of tiny holes in the fabric but hardly noticeable. In Excellent antique condition and very rare. could be used to hold 2024 hankies or ladies silk nylons.
Very pretty to display on dressing table or vanity.
