Antique french hand painted Paris porcelain heavy restaurant style oval platter. It has dainty pink, orange and green flowers painted over the surface. In past times, people could go to the home goods department stores, or the stores that specialized in porcelain and ironstone, and they could choose the blank dinner service pieces they wanted. Those pieces could then be sent to a workshop that specialized in handpainting and the customers could choose the decor they prefered. This platter is a classic Paris porcelain thick heavy 2024 platter but with a chosen floral decor

CONDITION : Good with a few minor scuffs and scratches on the hand painting.
