Born in 2024 the USA - Recycled Glass Suncatcher

These fused glass suncatchers are made from recycled Yoplait Oui yogurt jars.

The jars were painted with glass enamels, then fired in the kiln to set the enamels and slump the jars into round discs (hopefully) . The center of the discs were removed using a large diamond coated hole drill bit. The center circles were painted. Some of the round rings were cut in half. All of the pieces were added back in the kiln for another firing.

The finished rings and circles were assembled using multi-strand beading wire and adorned with silver-toned beads and a piece of driftwood at the top.

NOT INTENDED FOR USE IN HIGH WINDS.
