Overview: Up for sale is this really beautiful and expressive oil painting on stretched canvas. It depicts four boats in a harbor under a vivid sunset. It is unsigned, but based on the wear to the painting and age of the canvas, I would date it to the 1940's or 1950's. Also, the back of the canvas has a maker's mark identifying it as Winton canvas from London, leading to the likely conclusion this was English. Painting is stretched, but unframed.
