The 1 inch high sides are black. They are ready to hang when you get them (no frame is required). The Metal Prints are more expensive, but they are definitely my favorite. The del/8d and color on these is really remarkable! These are even more durable than the Canvas Prints and should last almost indefinitely if kept out of direct sunlight. Both can definitely be enjoyed at any distance!Please Note - Unless you have a calibrated monitor, colors you see on your display may be slightly different than those of the Artwork you receive, due to variations in un-calibrated displays. Older cheaper laptops seem to be the worst. Recent higher priced cell phones seem to be reasonably accurate.All Artwork is digitally signed at a low strength and in a location that does not distract fa m the picture.* Metal Print sizes with an asterisk after the price will be provided with a 1" Metal Stand Out Mount that will make the Artwork more rigid and help prevent it fa m warping. The Artwork will appear to float 1" off the wall.
