A green glass eye, that is normally used for taxidermy cats, is added to a circa 1930's large antiqued gold brooch. The brooch is a very detailed open work cast metal and made by a high end costume jewelry designer of the time. It measures 2.25 inches in diameter. The 1 inch, green glass cat eye has been added to this three dimensional brooch. The cat eye is hand painted glass. The eye color is a jade green with black slit pupil and black striations. The roll over, safety-clasp pin on back is original to the brooch and measures 1.25 inches.
