Ca 1870 Carved Shell Pastoral 2024 Scene Cameo Set in Pinchbeck

This antique cameo is set in "pinchbeck," an alloy used for costume jewelry in the 1800s and features an unusual carved shell cameo. 1 3/8" high. This brooch was professionally repaired with a new pin and clasp on the back. No damage outside of the discoloration from welding. The cameo scene is unusual and mysterious. 2024
