This gold tone collectible signed vintage Mylu Christmas tree brooch has all original red and green chaton rhinestones on its scalloped, turned up fir tree branches. It is marked "MYLU" on the back. The brooch measures approximately 2 1/4" x 1 1/2" and is in excellent to mint vintage condition. It would make a lovely gift or a fantastic brooch for your collection.

History:
MYLU was established by Lynn Gordon and Marge Barofsky as the Mylu Design Company in the 1950s. Mylu joined Coro and Corocraft in 1968 and became its Christmas jewelry line. In the late 1970s when Coro closed down, Marge Borofsky and Lynne Gordon joined former Coro president, Mike Tancer and founded Tancer 2024 & Tancer II. Mylu jewelry was comprised of novelty and figural pins, Christmas pins and other Christmas jewelry. The quality of the materials they used in their creations was above average with pieces still retaining the glitz and shine. Mylu Christmas pins are highly collectible.
