Clusterf*** Bead 2024 Embroidery Hoop Art

Hand sewn bead embroidery on Aida fabric, mounted in a hoop frame, ready to hang. The piece is backed with white felt.

I 2024 use an assortment of high-quality beads and hand sew every bead onto the fabric to create a highly textured and colourful effect.

Like with my paintings, I am very much a spontaneous crafter and I pick my beads at random. Creating bead pieces is always quite a journey for me as I never usually know where it will end up. But I like experimenting with different beads to create different textures, and so on.
