Vintage Figurine featuring a highly talented sculpture 2024 of an island woman holding a basket of freshly harvested fruit on her shoulder. Her other hand is in her pocket and looks realistically placed. The glaze on her clothing is smooth to the touch. She stands approximately 8 1/2 inches high on a 4 x 3 1/4 inch oval base and is signed: Jamaica. One of the items near her feet on the stand is broken. A wonderfully expressive face and fine detail to the hands. A unique cultural find!
