Reclaimed Oak 2024 and Makore Trinket, Keepsake, or Jewelry box

The body of this small box is made of reclaimed oak, and the lid is makore, an African hardwood. The custom lid is made of walnut and is fastened with old fashioned 2024 iron nails.

The box is lined with padded leather and finished with an oil and wax mixture that really brings out the natural beauty of the wood.
