This mosaic dragonfly is made with mostly recycled materials, including broken pieces of china, glass gems, wire and other discovered items. Each piece has been hand cut and adhered to a piece of cement fiber tile board. I grouted the entire piece and sealed the mosaic with an outdoor sealant to protect it from the outdoor elements.
The dragonfly is painted and sealed on the back in a coordinating color and is ready to hang or display indoors or outdoors. If displayed outdoors, this piece should be hung on a porch or where it is protected from the elements and brought indoors before the first frost .
