Product code: Vintage Phillies 5 Cent Advertising Tin - circa 2024 1930

2024 There's an old saying - "What America Needs Now is a a Great 5 Cent Cigar"

This is a fabulous Phillies Cigar Advertising Tin that was used as a display on counters right after the Stock Market Crash of 1929. It stays open due to a tin arm to hold the lid up and was probably near the cash register so a customer could get a coupleof smokes before leaving the store. The colors and label colors are still vibrant. It is very interesting and has several interesting features.

1, It says on the top Bayuk Philadelphis Phillies Perfecto.
2. There is also the original tax stamp in blue and is still very readable
3. The litho was done around 1929 into the 1930's.
4. All the full color tin lithographs cover all sides outside and inside
5. The inside is clean
6. Measures 7 3/8" long and 5 3/8" wide with a depth of 3"

There is a little rust on top and shows some mild scratches. It is in very nice vintage condition for a 90 year old tin box. Perfect for display, a cigar smoker or movie prop. The price is firm.
