Louis Riel / Coventry Historical 2024 Sheep Medium Sash

This sash is handmade on a loom using sheep wool. Its design is a replica of the Coventry style sash which Louis Riel wore circa 1860. His original sash is currently on display at the Musée de Saint-Boniface Museum. Coventry sashes were the most common from 1850 to the early 1900s.

All fringes are twisted by colour.
