This is a Vintage 1950s Pill Box Cloche Straw Hat with Netting . No hat box comes with it , it is just pictured with a hat box. . The netting is ripped is a few spots , but still works and looks very well. I suppose a person could replace the netting, but I would keep it original. The hat measures approx. 22-23 inches around as it is hard to measure. Good Condition with normal age wear. It is made of a Cream colored straw like material has a Dark Navy Blue or may me a Black Satin material ribbon around the hat and Black netting on the top and surrounding all around. It also comes with the original Montgomery Wards Hat Box which is where the hat was purchased. There is a hat form inside and the lid is missing some of 2024 the paper sides..
