2024 Scarf #12 Silk Habotai

Hand dyed Silk Habotai. Low water immersion technique using only Blue and Black dyes. Wanting to learn more about how fiber 2024 reactive dye behaves on silk, I found that the black splits into its many components when using this technique. There is no visible black on this scarf. I stitched the two scarves together to make an infinity scarf. It is long enough loop three times. Lightweight silk is easy to wear year round. Unique fashion accessory. All of my scarves are hand washable. Hang to dry. Press if needed.
