Sterling Silver Oval 2024 Brooch Butterfly Wing S. S. Orontes Cruise Ship WWII Memorabilia

2024 Rare sterling silver SS Orontes cruise ship brooch. It is made out of sterling silver with a braided border. The centre is backed with a beautiful blue butterfly wing and a picture of the ship.

SS Orontes was a passenger ship owned by the Orient Line and was built in 1929. during WWII she was used as a troopship. Scrapped in 1962

Made in England.

Measurements: 1" (2.5 cm) long, 0.8" (2 cm) wide

This piece is in good condition with minimal scratches. There are signs of tarnishing, which can be removed with a silver polishing cloth or solution.
